We would like to inform you that on 15 January 2021 the new online portal “SISnet” for social insurance contributions was implemented, the use of which is mandatory as from 25 January 2021. As from this date, manual payments of contributions to the District Offices will not be accepted.
The new portal is intended to offer flexibility, ease, and safety to the public, reducing the need for physical presence to carry out payments.
The Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance invites people who still pay their contributions to the District Offices of the Social Insurance Services, to register to “SISnet” on time and clarifies the following:
- Registration is made only electronically;
- Users of the previous version do not need to re-register, their current credentials can be used;
- The payment of contributions can be made both by using a credit or debit card, and by Direct Banking.
It is noted that a second phase of SISnet is expected to follow, that will allow for the payment of overdue liabilities.
